Are you pledging to be perfect? No. Are you pledging to strive to be the best, doing good by yourself and by others? Yes.
Because I, , choose to be a revolution; to do right by others while being true to myself and because I want to be known as a person who sets standards and lives by them, I pledge to live ethically. I pledge to join with others to learn about ethical issues, and discuss and agree to live by standards that uphold the law, are based on a moral code, are mutually beneficial, and applicable to modern ways of doing things. I pledge to draw the line and walk the line for myself first and then encourage my friends, peers, and others to do the same. Remembering that we are all human, I enact this pledge with humility and grace and promise to do my best to uphold it.
